Construction
Each chamber is built to house a vertical GI electrode set in backfill compound to lower soil resistivity, with a removable inspection cover for periodic earth resistance testing. Chamber depth is matched to your site's soil resistivity and fault current requirement.
Available in cast iron covers for vehicular/pedestrian areas and RCC construction for permanent installations.

Fault Current to Earth
When a fault occurs, current travels down the electrode through the backfill compound and disperses into the surrounding soil — the chamber gives you access to the test link at ground level to verify this path stays low-resistance over time.
Chamber depth (up to 3000mm) and electrode type are selected based on your site's measured soil resistivity, per IS 3043.

What size earthing chamber do I need?
It depends on the cover load rating your site needs — light-duty (3T) for pedestrian/landscaped areas, medium (5T) for general commercial sites, and heavy or extra-heavy duty (7-20T) for vehicular traffic and industrial yards. Chamber depth is matched separately to your site's soil resistivity, up to 3000mm.

Yes. We are based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and regularly dispatch earthing chambers to Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, with PAN-India delivery available for larger orders.
