GI vs Copper Bonded

GI (galvanized iron) pipe rods are the cost-effective, widely used option for standard soil conditions. Copper-bonded rods carry a thick copper layer over a steel core, giving much better corrosion resistance and a longer service life — the usual choice for high-moisture or chemically aggressive soil, or where the earthing system needs a longer design life.

We don't stock rods directly — enquiries are routed through our partner supply network, so pricing and lead time are confirmed before your order is placed. This is usually bundled with your earthing chamber enquiry.
